Dream Seedpod Using thread as mark making device, I draw attention to delicate lines and dots, translating inner thoughts with spontaneity. Each threads and thread bulbs are colored with brush or dipped into the pigment to achieve more personal and vibrant color. Through the ‘Dream Seedpod’ installation four stage of transformation of woman has displayed: an Apron, a Seedpod, a growing Bulb then a matured Flower blossoms up to the sky. Holding thread that I have inherited from grandmother and mother in my hand, these images are product of childhood memories and womanhood experience in Korea as well as USA. RETURN
